Michael Dorrell

Chairman,
Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder

Michael is the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Stonepeak and is a member of the Stonepeak Executive Committee. He has been deeply involved in all phases of the firm’s development since its founding in 2011. Today, Michael directs Stonepeak’s strategy and investment decisions, and oversees the firm’s continued expansion into new regions and product areas.

Michael has more than twenty years of experience investing in infrastructure. A longer-tenured investor in a relatively young and still maturing asset class, Michael has been a leader in infrastructure investing, successfully deploying capital across the entire landscape through economic cycles.

Prior to forming Stonepeak, Michael was a Senior Managing Director in Private Equity and Co-Head of the Infrastructure Investment group at Blackstone. Before Blackstone, Michael worked for over a decade at Macquarie, where he started his career, first in Australia and later in New York where he took on roles of increasing responsibility within the firm and ultimately held the title of Senior Managing Director.

Michael received a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce, both from the University of New South Wales in Sydney.

Jack Howell

Co-President

Jack is Co-President of Stonepeak, a member of the Stonepeak Executive Committee, and a member of all of the firm’s investment committees. In this role, Jack shares broad responsibilities across investing and the firm’s day-to-day business. Prior to joining Stonepeak, Jack worked for Davidson Kempner Capital Management, a hedge fund that focuses on distressed debt and merger arbitrage. Prior to Davidson Kempner, Jack worked for Denham Capital and Credit Suisse. Jack also serves on the board of King Ranch, Inc and Texas Children’s Hospital.

Jack received a Bachelor of Arts in Plan II Honors and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics (Business Economics Program), Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of Texas at Austin.

Luke Taylor*

Co-President

Luke is Co-President of Stonepeak, a member of the Stonepeak Executive Committee, and a member of all of the firm’s investment committees. In these roles, Luke shares broad responsibilities across investing and management of the firm’s day-to-day business. Luke is also on the SP+ INFRA Board of Directors. Luke has been investing across the infrastructure space for more than 20 years. Prior to joining Stonepeak, Luke was with Macquarie Capital based in New York, where he spent 10 years investing in a variety of sectors.

Luke received a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Business (Distinction) from the University of Otago (New Zealand).

Anthony Borreca*

Chief Investment Officer, SP+ INFRA

Anthony is a Senior Managing Director with Stonepeak in Europe, Co-Head of Energy, Chief Investment Officer of SP+ INFRA, and a member of the SP+ INFRA Board of Directors. Before joining Stonepeak, Anthony was a senior member of Blackstone Credit’s energy investing team for more than 11 years. While at Blackstone, Anthony invested in a wide range of debt and equity opportunities across the energy, renewables and energy transition related industries. Prior to Blackstone, he worked at Blue Source in the firm’s low-carbon infrastructure fund and began his career at Credit Suisse in their global energy investment banking group.

Anthony received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Colby College.

Cyrus Gentry*

Chief Executive Officer, SP+ INFRA

Cyrus is a Managing Director with Stonepeak, Chief Executive Officer of SP+ INFRA, and a member of the SP+ INFRA Board of Directors. Cyrus joined Stonepeak in 2017 and has played a senior role in the firm’s investing activities in the digital infrastructure sector in both North America and Europe. Prior to joining Stonepeak, Cyrus held investing roles at BC Partners, focusing on the industrials and telecommunications sectors, as well as Advent International and J.P. Morgan.

Cyrus received a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University. He currently sits on the Board of the South Street Seaport Museum in New York and serves as one of the Church Commissioners for the Church of England, who hold responsibility for managing the Church’s permanent endowment fund.

James Wyper

Senior Managing Director,
Head of Transportation & Logistics

James is a Senior Managing Director and is Head of Transportation & Logistics with Stonepeak. Prior to joining Stonepeak, James was a member of Credit Suisse’s Global Energy group, where he focused on the power and renewables sectors.

James received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Yale University.

Cyrus Gentry*

Chief Executive Officer

Cyrus is a Managing Director with Stonepeak, Chief Executive Officer of SP+ INFRA, and a member of the SP+ INFRA Board of Directors. Zachary Feingold

Chief Operating Officer

Zachary is a Senior Managing Director with Stonepeak, Chief of Staff, and Chief Operating Officer of SP+ INFRA. Before joining Stonepeak, Zachary spent ten years at Coatue, where he was Chief Legal Officer and involved as a senior member of management across all strategic and operational functions. Prior to Coatue, Zachary served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, where he was a member of the office’s Securities and Commodities Fraud Task Force and Complex Frauds Unit and led investigations and prosecutions in an array of complex white-collar matters. Prior to joining the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Zachary was an associate at the law firm of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett. He also served as a law clerk to the Honorable K. Michael Moore of the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida.

Zachary received a Juris Doctorate from Fordham University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Law & Society from American University.

Steve Mlynar

Chief Financial Officer

Steve is a Senior Managing Director with Stonepeak and is the firm’s Chief Financial Officer. Prior to Stonepeak, Steve held senior finance and accounting roles with Staple Street Capital, Apollo and Deloitte.

Steve received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Connecticut and a Master of Business Administration from Yale University. Steve is a Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Global Management Accountant and CFA Charterholder.

Anthony Borreca*

Anthony is a Senior Managing Director with Stonepeak in Europe, Co-Head of Energy, Chief Investment Officer of SP+ INFRA, and a member of the SP+ INFRA Board of Directors. Nisha Kumar*

Independent Director

Nisha is a member of the SP+ INFRA Board of Directors. Nisha has also served as the Managing Director, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Compliance Officer of Greenbriar Equity Group L.P. from 2011 to 2021, where she was also a member of the management and investment committees. Prior to Greenbriar, she served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of AOL. Nisha currently serves on the boards of directors and chairs the audit committees for Birkenstock Holdings (NYSE: BIRK), RealTruck, Inc., a premier vertically integrated truck, Jeep® and off-road parts and accessories company in North America, and the Legg Mason Partners Closed End Funds, owned by Franklin Templeton. She also serves on the board of directors of The India Fund, managed by Aberdeen Asset Management.

Nisha received a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in Government from Harvard and Radcliffe Colleges and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.

Mike Morgan*

Independent Director

Mike is a member of the SP+ INFRA Board of Directors. Mike is also a co-founding partner and Chairman of Triangle Peak Partners, a growth stage investor in technology, clean tech and energy, and President and Chief Executive Officer of Portcullis Partners.

Mike is the former president and current lead director at Kinder Morgan (NYSE:KMI), one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in North America. He joined Kinder Morgan at its founding in 1997 and has served in various senior leadership roles at the company for more than 25 years, including heading KMI’s corporate development efforts, leading as president of KMI, and continuously serving on the company’s board of directors since 2003.

Mike has previously served on the boards Sunnova (NYSE:NOVA); Stem (NYSE:STEM); Star Peak Energy Transition Corp. (NYSE:STPK); and Star Peak Corp II (NYSE:STPC). He also served as a director of two public energy funds affiliated with Kayne Anderson (NYSE: KYN and KYE), and on a number of private company boards for Triangle Peak Partners portfolio companies. Mike currently serves as co-chair of the advisory council for the Precourt Institute for Energy at Stanford University and previously served as the national chair of The Stanford Fund.

Mike received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and both a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Master of Arts in Sociology from Stanford University.

Robert Soderbery*

Independent Director

Robert is a member of the SP+ INFRA Board of Directors. Robert is also the President & CEO of Diligence Machines, where he oversees all aspects of the company’s technology development and market engagement. Before founding Diligence Machines, Robert was Executive Vice President and General Manager, Flash Business at Western Digital, where he was responsible for technology, products and go-to-market activities. Prior to Western Digital, he was President of UpLift, Inc., a fintech company. Prior to UpLift, he held senior leadership roles at Cisco Systems, including Senior Vice President and General Manager of Enterprise Products, where he led technology transformations in software and cloud. He also served as Senior Vice President of the Storage and Availability Management Group at Symantec Corporation. Earlier in his career he worked in various roles in the semiconductor industry.

Robert received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Caltech, where he is an active member of the Engineering and Applied Science Advisory Board, and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
